I needed an alternator for my vehicle and was quoted $2500 just for the alternator without fitting by a few repairers. I ordered one online from the US and it was delivered but it was the wrong one so sent back. I then came across Lanka Auto and they had an alternator that suited my car and with delivery it was only just over $400.
