Warranty Process and Policy

Warranty Process:

Step 1:
To initiate a warranty claim or return, click contact us via email at info@lankaauto.com.au. Please include your order number, contact details, and the reason for the fault.

Step 2:
We will email you with instructions on returning the faulty part to us. Ensure the returned item includes a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase.

Note: Claims without the required information will not be processed until the necessary details are provided.

Warranty Policy:

  • Warranty Period:
    The warranty period starts from the date of purchase. If a replacement part is supplied, the warranty period continues from the original purchase date.
  • Varying Warranties:
    Different brands offer different warranty periods. For specifics, contact us or refer to the brand’s website. LankaAuto brand products come with a 3-year warranty.
  • Return Responsibility:
    The buyer is responsible for returning the faulty item. If the item fails within 3 months, LankaAuto will cover the return shipping cost. If the item is confirmed faulty due to a manufacturing defect, LankaAuto will also cover the shipping costs for the replacement part.
  • Non-Manufacturing Faults:
    If the fault is not due to manufacturing, the customer pays the return shipping costs for the rejected unit. If not collected within 3 months, the part will be discarded.
  • Testing and Approval:
    All items returned under warranty will be tested and approved at the discretion of LankaAuto.
  • Replacements:
    The warranty covers replacements. If you do not require a replacement, please inform us.

The warranty does not cover failures or damage caused by incorrect fitment, foreign material contamination, modifications by non-LankaAuto staff, abuse, or misuse (these claims will be automatically rejected).

Return Process and Policy

Return Process:

Step 1:
Contact us via info@lankaauto.com.au with your order number, the reason for the return, and the part number to receive assistance with the correct part.

Step 2:
After providing all necessary information, you will receive return instructions via email. A full refund will be processed once we receive the returned item.

Returns must be initiated within 30 days of purchase and include your contact details, eBay username, and receipt.

Note: Failure to provide the required information may delay refunds. Returned items must be in their original, resalable condition, including packaging, to qualify for a full refund. Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving the item.

Return Policy:

Incorrect Purchase:

  • If the item was purchased incorrectly according to our listing application guide and it’s deemed LankaAuto’s error:
    • Ensure the part is correct.
    • LankaAuto will cover return shipping costs if the error is on our part.
    • Verify the correct part by providing the original part numbers.

Buyer’s Error or Change of Mind:

  • If the item was purchased incorrectly due to buyer error or if the buyer changes their mind:
    • The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
